Organizational description

The Distribution & Sales Business Division is responsible for the retail energy market and is the face of Vattenfall seen by our customers. We sell electricity, gas, heat and some energy-related services to 7.5 million customers. The business operations are organised in five Business Units –Sales B2C, Sales B2B, Heat, Distribution and Energy Related Services – and one Service Unit - Customer Service. Within the different units we have more than 14,500 employees and operate in eight different countries: Sweden, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Finland, Germany and Norway.

Process Management is part of Process & Demand management (P&D) and develops, optimises and harmonises the end-2-end process of sales and distribution of gas, electricity, heat and energy related services. Process Management consists of several international teams of process experts organized along core processes like Pre-contract, Contract Fulfillment, Switch/Move, Billing, Payments and Dunning. We are looking for a senior process manager to strengthen the team, to harmonize these processes across Europe and to take a leading role in implementing IT-systems to support the core processes.

MainTasks

Constantly optimize the process of Sales & Distribution of gas, electricity, heat and energy related services
Initiate, manage and participate in improvement projects
Harmonize processes for all Vattenfall locations (internationally); apply best-practices
Setting and achieving targets for the typical sub-processes of Sales & Distribution in close co-operation with Business Partners like Sales B2C, B2B, Product Development and IT

Qualifications

You have a relevant degree from University, Technical institute or similar
You have at least 5 to 10 years relevant experience in the Utility industry
You are very well known with the Sales & Distribution (sub)processes of an Energy Supplier
You are skilled in working with sub-processes and process management, including knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma or similar
You have extensive experience with industry leading IT systems for Utility companies, preferably SAP-ISU and SAP CRM
You have excellent communication skills both verbally and written
You are fluent in English

Door bijvoorbeeld industriële restwarmte en lokale koudebronnen, zoals meren, te benutten, profiteren onze klanten van maximaal comfort en leveren we een wezenlijke bijdrage aan het terugdringen van de CO2 uitstoot. Onze organisatie realiseert warmtenetwerken op aansprekende nieuwbouwlocaties en wordt steeds vaker uitgenodigd om renovatieprojecten van milieuvriendelijke energie te voorzien.

Voor Nuon Heat zoeken wij momenteel een Project Manager Infra

Wat ga je doen?

De regio Rotterdam is een sterke groei regio voor Nuon. In snel tempo realiseert Nuon hier de aanleg van compleet nieuw warmte distributienetten in een druk bebouwde omgeving met veel belang hebbenden en obstakels.
Jij als Projectmanager realiseert alle werkzaamheden die deel uitmaken van een project en je geeft sturing aan alle personen in het projectteam die bij een project betrokken zijn (Engineers, werkvoorbereiders, opzichters). Daarnaast onderhoud je contact met alle extern betrokken partijen zoals de deelgemeentes, aannemers en belangengroepen en organiseer je overleg en bijeenkomsten. Deze zit jezelf voor. Uiteindelijk zorg je ervoor dat wordt voldaan aan de met de opdrachtgevers overeengekomen projectdoelstelling en ben jij eindverantwoordelijk voor alle Budget, Planning, Kwaliteit en Communicatieaspecten van het project.

Je belangrijkste taken zijn:

Projectplan: je stelt een projectplan op bestaande uit: projectorganisatie, rapportage, projectstructuren zodat voortgang gemeten kan worden en tijdplanning. Ook stel je een communicatieplan, kwaliteitsplan, capaciteitsplan en risicomanagementplan op.
Projectmanagement: Je realiseert de uitvoering van het project. Je plant, organiseert, coördineert en rapporteert de voortgang van toegewezen projecten. Je managet de verwachtingen van stakeholders, zodanig dat de projectdoelstellingen en -resultaten worden behaald, binnen de overeengekomen kwaliteit standaarden, tijdplanning en budgetten.
Projectafsluiting: Je sluit de opgeleverde projecten af, draagt de projectresultaten, inclusief een set aan documentatie over aan de beheer en / of lijnorganisatie, teneinde deze in staat te stellen de resultaten te implementeren. Daarnaast leg je leerpunten vast in een projectevaluatie, om zo de efficiency en de kwaliteit van toekomstige projecten te verbeteren.
Contractvorming: Je stuurt het proces voor eventuele aanbestedingen en in samenwerking met inkoop begeleid je het contracteringsproces naar externe partijen.
Veiligheid, Arbo en Milieu: je voert de activiteiten op het gebied van Arbo- en Milieuzorg uit en verricht werkzaamheden binnen de veiligheidsvoorschriften, rekeninghoudend met het Arbo/Milieubeleid van de organisatie, gericht op optimale arbeidsomstandigheden.

Wie zoeken we?

Je hebt een afgerond HBO opleiding, bij voorkeur met een technische achtergrond.
Je hebt 3-5 jaar relevante werkervaring als projectleider binnen de infra techniek, weg- en waterbouw of warmte/koude aanleg.
Je hebt goede inhoudelijke kennis op het gebied van infratechniek, bij voorkeur stalen leidingtechniek
Als je een IPMA D certificering hebt, is dit een pré.
Je bent in staat om een projectteam aan te sturen van 1-5 medewerkers
Je hebt ervaring in projecten met een Projectbudget van minimaal EUR 0,5 mln
Je hebt bewezen ervaring in het communiceren met externe stakeholders

Nuon’s Customer Care Center (CCC) heeft een heldere ambitie: een internationale voortrekkersrol op het gebied van klantcontacten spelen. Bijzonder uitdagend, want wij zijn het primaire aanspreekpunt van ruim 2.5 miljoen klanten. De kwaliteit van het werk van het CCC bepaalt voor een belangrijk deel de beeldvorming en tevredenheid over Nuon.

De keten BI&S ondersteunt het CCC in de weg naar wereldklasse en is hiermee dé gesprekspartner voor de operatie. Onze medewerkers zijn ‘dedicated to optimization’ en sturen op performanceverbetering van de organisatie. Kun jij bijvoorbeeld onze klantcontacten accuraat voorspellen en wil je een bijdrage leveren aan het efficiënt en effectief afhandelen van deze klantcontacten? Binnen deze afdeling zijn wij opzoek naar een Senior Forecaster.

Wat ga je doen
Als Forecaster ben je verantwoordelijk voor het opleveren van een accurate forecast voor de klantcontacten van het CCC via verschillende kanalen. Je doet voorstellen over de skill inrichting en de capaciteits inzet en maakt analyses tbv forecast afwijkingen. Hierbij werk je nauw samen met je collega forecasters en de call driver manager. Tevens onderhoud je wekelijks contact met het operationeel management van het CCC waarin jij jouw advies over de verwachtingen voor aankomende periode bespreekt.

Wat we van je verwachten
We zij opzoek naar een volwaardige sparringspartner voor het management waarin je makkelijk communiceert en waarbij je klant-en resultaatgericht opstelt. Je bent analytisch met een sterk cijfermatig inzicht en je kunt verbanden leggen in complexe vraagstukken aangaande performance/forecasting. Daarnaast voldoe je aan de volgende eisen;

Afgeronde HBO diploma
Je hebt 3 jaar werkervaring in een soortgelijke functie binnen een customer care centre omgeving
Je hebt kennis van WFM-processen en kunt pragmatisch werken in een dynamische omgeving.
Kennis van COPC is een pré.

De Incident manager heeft een belangrijke rol binnen de afdeling Online Capability. Het coördineren van de afwikkeling van incidentmeldingen als gevolg van verstoringen is een van de dagelijkse werkzaamheden. Om de verstoring goed te coördineren verzamelt de Incident Manager informatie en stuurt de technische specialisten aan. Het correct en volledig informeren van de gebruikers en opdrachtgevers en het bewaken van de voortgang is hierbij cruciaal. Daarnaast lever je als Incident Manager een wezenlijke bijdrage aan het voorkomen van incidenten.

Wat zijn je werkzaamheden

Coördineren van de afwikkeling van incident meldingen;
Overzicht houden over alle productieverstoringen;
Classificeren van incidenten en bewaken dat de gemaakte afspraken nagekomen worden
Afhandelen van gebruikers specifieke problemen en incidenten
Afhandelen van gebruikersvragen m.b.t. de functionaliteiten van de Nuon websites en je levert een belangrijke bijdrage aan het reduceren van deze gebruikersvragen
Zorgen voor een goede communicatie naar zowel eindgebruikers als management

Wat vragen we van jou

Je hebt een afgeronde HBO opleidign en daarnaast een aantoonbare affiniteit met vakgebied functioneel beheer.
Je bent bekend met de driehoek techniek, mens en organisatie, evenals ASL, BiSL en ITIL modellen.
Ervaring als Incident manager, content beheerder, applicatie beheerder of functioneel beheerder van websites is noodzakelijk.
Je weet hoe je acceptatiecriteria SMART beschrijft en hoe je een acceptatietest opstelt en uitvoert.
Je bent enthousiast, pro-actief en weet uitstekend op allerlei niveau's te communiceren
Je kunt goed luisteren en doorvragen om vragen van klanten te doorgronden
Klant- en servicegericht èn commercieel ingesteld

Voor Nuon Warmte zoeken wij momenteel een Technisch Specialist Binneninstallaties.

Wil jij je verder ontwikkelen als technisch adviseur naar je collega’s en ook de klanten van Nuon in een functie vol diverse taken zoals adviseren, geven van opleidingen en ontwikkelen van beleid? Dan is deze functie mogelijk waar jij naar zoekt!

Wat ga je doen?

Onder binneninstallaties verstaan wij alle verwarming- en koelinstallaties binnen de woningbouw en utiliteit die eigendom zijn van de klanten van NUON warmte maar die wel van invloed zijn op het leveringsproces van Nuon warmte omdat zij aangesloten zijn op het afleverpunt. Als Technisch Specialist Binneninstallaties specificeer je de aansluitvoorwaarden waaraan binneninstallaties moeten voldoen en gebruik je jouw technisch inhoudelijke kennis van o.a. HVAC installaties om hierop een beleid te ontwikkelen. Dit betekent dat je gevraagd en ongevraagd advies geeft aan klanten en de interne organisatie over vragen met betrekking tot het ontwerp van de binneninstallatie. Daarnaast ondersteun je de interne organisatie bij complexe storingen. In deze functie ben je dus niet bezig met het technisch ontwerpen van binneninstallaties, maar zorg je dat door jouw advies en inbreng de installaties bij onze klanten voor nu en in de toekomst geschikt zijn voor warmte- en koudeleveringen van Nuon.

In de dagelijkse praktijk zullen je bezigheden bestaan uit:

Je ondersteunt de werkvoorbereider bij de beoordeling en controle van complexe installatieontwerp/-tekeningen en toegepaste materialen.
Je Instrueert, traint en toetst periodiek werkvoorbereiders, opzichters en beheerders op kennis op het gebied van installatieontwerp, tekeningcontrole, toegepaste materialen, toepassing, aansluitvoorwaarden en richtlijnen
Je volgt de ontwikkelingen die plaatsvinden op de markt door bezoek van beurzen, raadplegen van vakliteratuur, workshops.
Informeert werkvoorbereiders, opzichters en beheerders over ontwikkelingen op het gebied van de binneninstallaties
Je draagt zorg voor het beleid ten aanzien van binneninstallaties waarin het proces en de criteria staan omschreven die toegepast worden voor het beoordelen van binneninstallaties
Organiseert bijeenkomsten voor installateurs om het installeren met Stadswarmte toe te lichten.
Incidenteel kan je ondersteunend zijn voor accountmanagers, projectmanagers bij bijeenkomsten indien daar expliciet over binneninstallaties wordt gesproken.

Wie zoeken we?

Je beschikt over HBO werk en denkniveau
Je hebt een relevante opleiding afgerond, bijvoorbeeld HIT, WTB of AOT.
Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring
Je beschikt over uitstekende inhoudelijke kennis van verwarming- en koude installaties of HVAC opgedaan bij een ingenieurs advies bureau of binnen de installatiebranche.
Enige ervaring in projectmanagement is een pré.
Je beschikt over abstract en analytisch denkvermogen
Je bent bereid tot reizen en beschikt over een rijbewijs B
Je hebt uitstekende communicatieve en schriftelijke vaardigheden.

Voor Nuon Warmte zoeken wij momenteel een Technoloog met werktuigbouwkundige kennis en kunde van procesinstallaties.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Technoloog voor Nuon Warmte ontwikkel en implementeer je concepten, methoden, technieken en/of proces-, ontwerpcriteria voor de onderstations en de afleversets binnen het distributie- en leveringsnetwerk van Nuon Warmte voor zowel warmte als koude. Denk daarbij aan warmtewisselaars, regelaars, pompinstallaties etc, waarbij je rekening houdt met de technische processen bij Nuon Warmte maar ook bij onze klanten. Je zorgt ervoor dat jouw ideeën over deze installatie onderdelen in lijn zijn met de wettelijke milieu- en veiligheidsnormen.

What you will do

From day to day you will have several tasks and responsibilities.

Concerning the responsibilities, please consider the following. You will set up a dedicated Origination team of professional originators in Warsaw, Poland with activities in whole CEE market. The main task will be to lead Origination team in exploring market opportunities and developing a broad deal funnel. You will focus on wholesale electricity, gas and renewable energy markets. Wat ga je doen?

Je ondersteunt de ketenmanagers waarbij je mede verantwoordelijkheid draagt voor marge omzet, visie, strategie en werking van het producten- en diensten portfolio, met als uiteindelijk doel een concurrerende positie in de markt in te nemen. Jij als Data & Reporting specialist bent verantwoordelijk voor de rapportage, datakwaliteit en ondersteuning in analyse en inzicht van het producten- en diensten portfolio en je draagt zo je steentje bij aan de verbetering en ontwikkeling hiervan. Je faciliteert intern overleg door inzicht te bieden in sales, marge en conversieratio’s en helpt zo om balans in de keten aan te brengen.

Concreet betekent dit dat je belangrijkste verantwoordelijk zijn:

Rapportage / Systemen
- Je maakt de belangrijke wekelijkse standaard rapportages (voor alle verschillende bedrijven) vanuit Ketenmanagement en bent de trekker in het automatiseren van deze rapportages. Naast de wekelijkse standaard rapportages, zul je op ad-hoc basis ook werken aan diepte analyses en rapportages en stel je nieuwe rapportages op.
Analyse; beheer en ontwikkeling product- en diensten portfolio
- Je analyseert en optimaliseert rapportages, systemen en processen van alle producten en diensten, in samenwerking met relevante afdelingen en units en geeft advies over verbeteringen met als doel te komen tot een winstgevend, competitief en kwalitatief hoog product / dienstenportfolio.
Inzicht Keten en Proces
- Je hebt een proactief ondersteunende rol aan de ketenmanagers: op basis van rapportages, analyses en overleggen zal je actuele situaties binnen de ketens verder uitdiepen en analyseren en voorstellen en adviezen ter verbetering van het rendement van de ketens aandragen.
Projectmanagement
- In deze verbetervoorstellen heb je zelf ook een rol. Je zet verbeterprojecten op, participeert in de projecten en begeleidt optimalisatieprojecten binnen de systemen, processen en rapportages binnen de ketens.
Verantwoordelijk voor datakwaliteit

Wat ga je doen?

Als werkvoorbereider ontwerp, bereken en teken je warmte distributienetwerken en aansluitingen, aan de hand van (ontwerp)normen, om zo het opstellen van het bestek mogelijk te maken. Je laat (bestek)tekeningen maken en je beheert het tekeningenbestand en alle technische documentatie totdat een project volledig afgerond is. Jij bent het aanspreekpunt voor externe engineeringbureaus, maar ook overheidsinstanties, aannemers en niet te vergeten de klant. Je belangrijkste dagelijkse taken bestaan uit:

Beoordelen van werkaanvragen en offertes.
Opstellen van ontwerpen door zelf te tekenen of dit uit te besteden aan engineeringbureaus.

Opstellen van planningen en werkplannen om zo de werkzaamheden veilig en efficiënt te laten verlopen.

Bestellen, regelen van materialen en diensten zodat de projecten zonder vertragingen kunnen worden uitgevoerd.
Administratie en documentatie beheer

Je hebt een afgeronde MBO opleiding, bij voorkeur in een technische richting

Wat houdt de functie in?

Als Assistent Controller ben je primair verantwoordelijk voor het verzorgen en optimaliseren van controlling (financial, business en operational) binnen Feenstra Verwarming. De functie omvat de projectbeheersing en het monitoren van de resultaten, processen en projecten op de vestigingen. Als controller ben je ook lid van het lokale vestigingsMT.

In deze functie rapporteer je aan de regiocontroller, maar je hebt ook een rapportagelijn richting de vestigingsmanager. Je vervangt de regiocontroller bij diens afwezigheid. De financiële administratie is uitbesteed aan een shared service center. Je belangrijkste taken zullen bestaan uit:

Financial Controlling

Het verkrijgen, beoordelen en monitoren van de cijfers van de vestiging. Afstemmen met het shared service center en bespreken met het vestigingsmanagement. De controller heeft een zware rol in het budget en forecastproces.

Business Controlling

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het inzicht verkrijgen en monitoren van de financiële voortgang van de projecten. Je bespreekt de voortgang en risico’s op de projecten. Daarnaast moet ook vastgesteld worden dat de procedures binnen sales, contracten, projecten en urenverantwoording worden nageleefd. Als controller bewaak je naleving van de vastgestelde procuratiematrix en je geeft gevraagd en ongevraagd advies aan het vestigingsmanagement.

Operational Controlling

Je bewaakt de processen die er voor zorgen dat de facturatie volledig wordt uitgevoerd, dat urenstaten en werkbonnen juist en volledig worden geregistreerd en dat de voorraden in bussen en magazijnen tijdig worden geïnventariseerd.

Wat vragen wij?

Minimaal een afgeronde HBO opleiding, bij voorkeur in een financieel- of bedrijfseconomische richting
Minimaal 4 jaar werkervaring en ambitie om door te groeien naar Business Controller.

Manager IT Back office (High Availability Services)

The Manager of Back Office – 2nd line support (BO) is responsible for building up and operate the High Available part of the Data Center, including application and infrastructure operations and reports directly to the Manager HAS. She / he ensures, together with a dedicated team of technical experts, that the High-Available IT infrastructure and applications have an up-time close to 100%. The technical experts will sit together with the on-site support at the premises of the business supported at 3 locations, to have short response times. Issues which the on-site support cannot solve will be solved by the Back Office team. The manager BO is responsible for keeping a contact to the business, recognising areas for improvement early in the process. Continuous cooperation, interfacing and alignment to HAS On site support to have very short reaction time for our trading business is the key success factor. Process oriented working with a high customer focus is mandatory for its success. By using the already extensive experience working in data centers environment the Back Office Manager is responsible to deliver a top-end IT service to Vattenfall business.Responsibility description:

Building up the the back office teams in the 3 countries

Qualifications

The manager shall be able to drive change by always keeping the customer in mind and also transform the services and support operations when needed.

Leadership experience in an international and cross-cultural environment is a must. Participative and coaching management style will be required. The candidate has to have undisputable personal characteristics such as honesty, integrity, being culturally sensitive, being a team player and a driver with an overall positive attitude against challenges and will turning those into opportunities.

We are looking for a person who has experience from working as a manager in or outside of Vattenfall. You have a university degree (MSc or similar/comparable) in e.g. Engineering, Management, Business Informatics, or Computer Science. Finally, perfect command of the English language is needed in order to be successful in this job, Swedish, Dutch or German language and cultural skills are of real benefit. De klantenservice verleent service aan klanten van Nuon, onder meer door het factureren van door Nuon geleverde producten en diensten, het verwerken van mutaties en het afhandelen van klantvragen. Wat houdt de functie in?

Als teamleider WFM Uitvoering ben je verantwoordelijk voor een groep van ongeveer 12 specialisten op het terrein van Roostering en Traffic Management. Je stuurt het team aan op een coachende manier en hebt daarnaast zelf ook een inhoudelijke verantwoordelijkheid voor het vakgebied. Binnen de afdeling staat het managen van de personele bezetting van de klantenservice centraal. Als follow-up aan het forecastingsproces heeft het team WFM Uitvoering de verantwoordelijkheid om voldoende mensen in te zetten om aan de kwaliteitsdoelstellingen van de klantenservice te voldoen. Na oplevering van de roosters van de medewerkers, controleert het team tevens de daadwerkelijke uitvoering ervan en stuurt bij waar nodig. Dat bijsturen kan gebeuren door te schuiven met capaciteit, door extra mensen in te roepen, door te schakelen met de outsourcing partners etc.

Wat vragen we van je?

Je beschikt over een afgeronde HBO of WO opleiding, met meerdere jaren leidinggevende ervaring. Je hanteert een coachende stijl van leidinggeven, met een goed evenwicht tussen effectieve coaching en sturing. Technical Back office engineer (Data Center)

The technical engineer is responsible for designing, building and operating the High Available part of the Data Center, including application operations and reports directly to the Manager HAS Back Office. She / he ensures, together with a dedicated team of technical experts, that the infrastructure and applications have an up-time as close as possible to 100%. We are looking for Technical Engineers who are willing to put in all they got, to deliver a high up-time of the mission critical infrastructure. Besides exceptional skills in at least three of the following areas Unix and Windows Server, Active Directory, Oracle, MSSQL, Citrix, Exchange, Application Servers like IIS, Virtualisation with VMware, Networking. Binnen Nuon voorziet de Business Unit Heat een groeiend aantal bedrijven en particulieren van duurzame warmte én koude. Door industriële restwarmte en lokale koudebronnen (zoals meren), te benutten, profiteren onze klanten van maximaal comfort en leveren we een wezenlijke bijdrage aan het terugdringen van de CO2 uitstoot. Onze organisatie realiseert warmtenetwerken op aansprekende nieuwbouwlocaties en wordt steeds vaker uitgenodigd om renovatieprojecten van milieuvriendelijke energie te voorzien.

Binnen Nuon Warmte is Heat and Cooling Generation verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van alle decentrale warmte en koude productie-eenheden. Wat ga je doen?

Als technisch beheerder krijg je de verantwoordelijkheid voor het beheer en onderhoud van een aantal warmte- en koude opwek installaties die bij de klanten van Nuon Warmte staan opgesteld.

Dit betekend dat je verantwoordelijk bent voor het opstellen en uitvoeren van een aantal beheers- en onderhoudsplannen (conform de specificaties die aan de apparatuur gesteld zijn) waarbij je rekening houdt met de klantbenadering, techniek en de kosten van het onderhoud. Je bent eindverantwoordelijk voor de bewaaksystemen en de aansturing van de externe onderhoudspartijen en daarmee de uiteindelijke operationele beschikbaarheid van de installaties. Tot je belangrijkste taken behoren:

Beheer/bedrijfsvoering:
- Je beheert installaties uit binnen het kader van het jaarplan/activiteitenplan met als doel optimale inzet en instandhouding van de installaties. Vanaf afstand verzorg je in- en uit bedrijfstellingen van installaties bij onderhoud en bij storingen, zodat installaties veilig en met minimale verstoring voor de levering in en uit bedrijf gaan.
Storingen
- Je monitored verstoringen binnen de beschikbaarheid van de installaties storingen, stuurt zonodig externe (storings)monteurs aan, maakt storingsanalyses en lost complexe technische klachten om eventuele onderbreking van de installatie zo kort mogelijk te houden.
Plannen
- Je stelt onderhouds- en beheersplannen op binnen de geldende normen, voorschriften, specificaties en procedures om zo een optimale inzet en instandhouding van de installaties te bereiken.
Vastleggen gegevens
- Je legt relevante technische en administratieve gegevens zodat er een correct inzicht in de onderhoudssituatie kan worden gegeven.
Veiligheid, Arbo en Milieu
- Je voert ctiviteiten op het gebied van Arbo- en Milieuzorg uit rekeninghoudend met het Arbo/Milieubeleid van de organisatie, gericht op optimale arbeidsomstandigheden.
In- & externe contacten
- Je hebt veelvuldig klantcontact met zowel externe als interne klanten met als doel een hoge klanttevredenheid te behalen.

Onderdeel van de Divisie Production Thermal Netherlands is de afdeling Inspection; een gecertificeerde Inspectieafdeling van Gebruiker (IvG). De IvG heeft tot doel om de technische integriteit en process safety van aangewezen drukapparatuur in de gebruiksfase binnen Nuon te bewaken. Daarnaast levert de IvG groep ondersteuning bij nieuwbouwprojecten, ombouw, revisies, reparaties en wijzigingen aan drukapparatuur. Wat ga je doen?

Als Senior Inspecteur IvG ben je verantwoordelijk voor:

De coördinatie en (jaar)planning van inspecties en beoordelingen van drukapparatuur in onze productie-eenheden.

Wie zoeken we?

Voor deze uitdagende functie zoeken wij kandidaten die beschikken over

Een technisch HBO diploma, bij voorkeur Werktuigbouwkunde.
Je bent op I&K niveau 3 gecertificeerd en / of beschikt over een geldig certificaat LPI met 5 jaar actuele ervaring en kennis op het gebied van inspectie van drukapparatuur.

What you will do

On a day to day basis, you will be trading Gas in North West Europe (UK, Netherlands, Belgium) on the whole curve. You will identify opportunities and developing proprietary trading strategies within given VaR and Stop loss limits. Vis a vis the team you will act the lead trader, which includes the supervision of junior traders and their training. Equally, you will focus on fundamental trading in the NW European Markets by analyzing the key fundamental drivers (Supply and demand Gas, Oil, Coal, CO2, European Power) with support of the desk analysts.

In general, you will support VET cross commodity trading approach while constantly communicating and sharing opinions with trading colleagues from different trading floors. You will act as an external and internal market-maker on gas markets for all products required from internal customers. The lead trader negotiates and concludes physical/financial gas wholesale market deals with delivery via brokers, power exchanges on bilateral basis. Finally, you’ll also be involved in optimizing transaction cost (broker- and exchange fees) in the portfolios and influencing continuous development of work flows in order to increase efficiency and minimize operational risk.

What we are looking for

University degree level with technical and/or business background or comparable qualification.
5 to 10 years experience of work in an energy/gas trading environment.
Proven track record of several years of highly profitable trading and strong risk taking ability.
Strong fundamental knowledge of the UK and Continental gas markets and its supply and demand drivers like LNG, Indigenous gas production capacity characteristics, Gas imports, Demand pattern, Weather, Interconnectors, Oil, CO2, Coal, European Power etc.
Sound risk management assessment and familiarity with modern risk management techniques.
Experiences from managing structured portfolios including optionalities and knowledge of option trading theories are of advantage.
Strong knowledge of technical analysis.
Excellent negotiation skills in English (written and spoken), further language skills are advantageous.

Strategy is looking for a Gas Strategy Advisor to work in the Gas Competence Centre. This position reports to the Director of the Gas Competence Centre.

Job Description

Staff Function (SF) Strategy’s main responsibility is to develop Vattenfall’s Strategic Direction. This includes identifying and resolving strategic issues and developing and proposing the Corporate Strategic Plan and capital allocation for the Group. Additionally, SF Strategy will support the BDs/BUs to develop their business strategies. SF Strategy will also continuously provide support to the EGM and BD/BU management regarding decisions related to strategic issues and other important business cases. To accomplish these tasks SF Strategy manages the Group-wide Strategy Development process, which includes the Long term Market Outlook and the Corporate Portfolio Analysis.

The unit Gas Comptence Centre (GCC) is one of seven departments within SF Strategy. GCC’s main responsibilities are to develop gas strategic input in the Vattenfall Long-Term Market Outlook (LTMO), and to identify and address key strategic issues in gas in the Vattenfall business in cooperation with relevant business units. These tasks include leading cross-business projects on specific gas topics and participating in the Long-Term Market Outlook development process.

As a member of the strategy team “Gas Competence Centre” within the staff function strategy you will be responsible for identifying and developing deep dives on key strategic issues in European and global gas markets. You will contribute to the identification and solution of strategic challenges in Vattenfall’s gas business in close cooperation with departments across the business. You will be involved in relevant corporate strategic projects, and support the development of the corporate strategic plan.

Your preferred background

You are an engineer (focus on Voice-over-IP) with several years of professional experience and comprehensive knowledge in the fields of networks, telecommunications, VoIP, LAN/WAN and IT security. Our organization

Asset Optimization and Trading (AOT) is the Business Division where all Asset Optimization and Trading activities are centralized for the Vattenfall Group. Our activities are multi-site located across Europe with more than 600 professionals working from Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark and Poland. We trade the full range of energy commodities such as electricity, gas, oil, coal, freight, renewable energies and emissions, take responsibility for a diversified sourcing of power, fuels and carbon credits and optimise the running and hedging of Vattenfall’s generation assets. These efforts are the basis for maximum profitability and continuous business growth.

Your responsibilities

The analyst will work in a team of four and will report to the Manager, Confirmations and Commodities. The analyst will ensure that the trades entered into Nuon’s trading system by the trading department reconcile both with the traders, deal pads and also with the confirmations and trade lists provided by trading counterparties and brokers. The analyst will produce and process inbound and outbound counterpart trade confirmations and to identify deal entry errors (by traders) to ensure that Nuon meets all contractual obligations and realized expected revenue. The analyst will facilitate the daily management of collateral, processing outgoing and incoming margin calls, and assisting with margin call disputes, by reconciling trade lists and analysing exposure calculations with margining counterparties. The analyst will resolve problems with trading counterparts or internal departments relating to the accurate representation of Nuon’s trading obligations. The scope includes all of Nuon’s trading operations including power, fuel, environmental, and FX trading

Your profile

You are educated to HBO level (for example Finance, Finance and controlling, International financial management).
Accurate working habits are essential as the role involves not only handling large amounts of data without error, but also identifying the errors of others.
You are structured in your work and have a logical approach to solving problems and resolving issues.
You are proficient in English and comfortable to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with Nuon’s external counterparties as well as other departments in Nuon.
